(There must have been other children who died young as the 1830 Census of Lyons shows an extra female 5 to 10 yr. and
1840 shows an extra male 5-10 and female 5-10 (the 1830 female is no longer there). In 1850 Abram and Margaretta had sons
Stephen and William and daughter-in-law, Aurelia, in their household and John Gardner was next door.)

14 June 1860. "Abraham T." Van Wickle is bur. in the South Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, NY--no stone for his wife there. He m.
Margaretta Ann Perrine 8 October 1821 in Lyons, NY (Lyons Republican, 19 October 1821). Margaretta was b. 11 January 1803
and bap. 10 April 1803 in Cranbury, Monmouth, NJ. She died 25 September 1891. They had three children.
(There is a listing for Margaretta D. Perrine, consort of David W. b. 19 November 1793 and d. 7 April 1824 at age 30-4-11. Her stone was found at 1 Butternut St., Lyons,
NY in the 1970s. Wonder what relation, if any, she might be to Abram's wife of the same name.)
According to Harry Macy, Lyons Presbyterian Church records show that he was received there on profession of faith on 4
October 1818 and also that he died in Lyons. As his wife outlived him by more than 30 years, she may have died elsewhere.
The Town of Lyons Directory of 1886-7 lists Margaret A. Van Wickel, widow (Water
& Aqueduct)
Children: John^7 Gardner Van Wickle was b. 22 July 1822 (Wayne County, NY) and d. 18 July 1900 (gravestone, South
Cemetery). Sometimes his name is listed as "Gardiner". He was christened in the Lyons Presbyterian Church 17 September
1826 (Wiles, 39). He m. Anna Gifford (b. 22 September 1829 and d. 21 October 1910--gravestone, South Cemetery. In 1850,
John Gardiner was a farmer in Lyons listed next door to his father, with $7,000 in real estate. They had five children.
Stephen^7 Duncan Van Wickle was b. 1824 (Wayne County, NY) and was christened the same day as John. Date of death not
found. He m. Aurelia Roberts, b. about 1827. She may be the A. Van Wickle who d. October 1891 (Wiles, 42). They had four
children. William^7 Perrine Van Wickle (gravestone says Willard) was b. abt. 1828/9 (Wayne County, NY) and d. 21 June 1857 in his 29th year.
He married Minerva Gifford and they had one child, William^8 P. Van Wickle, b.
November 1856, NY just a few months before William P. Van Wickle, Sr. died.
In a school program at Lyons Union School on 24 Febrary 1847, Wm. P. Van Wickle
gave an address as "Delegate from the Jews" in a "Congress of
Nations" presentation. W.P. Van Wickle
was one of the "managers" who issued an invitation to the community to
attend a Union Festival to be held in the spacious New Hall of the Lyons Union
School House, Thursday, December 28, 1848.

Van Wickle, 57, with Abraham Van Wickle, 69, farmer, both b. NY. Also in
household are Grove Youngs, 45, with wife, Elizabeth, 40 and dau. Esther, 1. [Abraham
dies in June, 1860 so he may be very near death at the time of this census. On
the census page, Margaret is listed as head and Abraham is the last of five
entries.]
